Book and Life Coaching Testimonials
“That was a tear jerker, eye opener & a good read. I don’t read often at all, so, I wanna thank you again for that. I will work on the questions later this week...my eyes burn.”
- Niecy
“Another great read. When I got to "Endnote" chapter, I felt disappointed that it was over. But I loved it. Can't wait for your next one. There has to be a next one because you were born to write.”
- Mrs. Ann
“You are as honest and caring as anyone can be. I think about our sessions every day to keep me going. I try not to worry and just trust the process God has for me. A lot of days, I feel a lot of anxiety, then I hear your voice telling me everything is going to work out and be ok, and I instantly calm down. You are more than equipped to be a life coach and more!!!”

“
I finally found a book that completely dragged me in and demanded that I sit sit until I completed it. “The Guilt I Carry” is an extremely powerful story that you seamlessly combined happiness, humor, love, joy, anger, sadness, pain, sorrow, lost and feelings of guilt. It was so well-written that I was actually there. I could see it; it was like watching the movie. Oh my God. I cried, I laughed out loud, and I even got chills at times toward the end of this book. The lessons learned are powerful tools to live by. I have to say your sophomore book was just as captivating as your freshman book. What a great read!”

Your book is a page-turner...I'm reaching out to you as I'm reading and imagining things as described I even burst out crying when reading the part when Aunt Janis was transitioning and was interacting with my mom. 😭 I love this book and can't wait to finish it!

“Hi Tracey. Hope all is well. I shared your book with 3 others and everyone really enjoyed it. I think they will be purchasing their own copies. I will encourage them to do so.😊I tried to leave comments on the page. I didn’t figure out exactly how to do that. It was a great, easy, powerful read. Continue the good work! Steve”

“Hello mom, this book was fantastic! In my opinion it was better than your first book, Suffering In Silence. Also, Aunt Janis would be very proud of you and this book! Keep up the good work, mom.”

“Tracey, I finally finished the book. I tried reading it a couple of times, but would have to put it down. Then I just decided to stop what I was doing and read it in its entirety. Well, this book brought back so many memories and Janis would be so very happy. You did your sisters life good and I know she would be honored. Thank you for capturing her story. ”

“Hello Ms. Jefferson, Steven Smith shared your book “The guilt I Carried” with me regarding your beloved sister Janice. Your heartfelt story touched my heart, so I was compelled to pass it on to both my sisters. Thus, your book has traveled from Rocky Mount NC, Capitol Heights MD, Upper Marlboro MD, and currently it is in Waldorf MD. (smile)
Our family story does not compare to yours, because our 89yr old Mom is still living, however she has various medical issues. We grew up in DC, and moved to MD, so all the landmark locations mentioned in the book are so relatable. As young kids, when the street lights came in it was time to go inside. Also, remembering during the Christmas holidays riding around to look at the decorated homes.
Your book is inspirational and a source of encouragement knowing throughout the times of struggle, despair, and challenges the reward of knowing undeniable love is present.
Please accept this small donation of our appreciation, and for sharing the many lessons learned from your story. Afterall, you missed out on 3 sales for your book. (smile).
Sincerely,
Cecelia W. ”
